Jon produces music for M&S Christmas Ad


Jon has produced a new recording with Grammy award winning vocalist Gregory Porter for the Marks & Spencer Chrismas TV advert.

The new version of Fly Me To The Moon also features the vocals of legendary jazz singer Julie London.

The track, released on Decca as a charity record to raise money for the Make-A-Wish Foundation has been A listed on Radio 2 and other national stations and is due for a US release.

Jon Cohen is an innovative contemporary record producer and arranger.
Able to work fluently in genres from intimate acoustic recordings, to arranging symphonic orchestral music, he has gained an international reputation for his ability to deliver the highest quality recordings on time and within budget.

Jon has dominated the Classical Crossover area, achieving 21 top five classical albums (including 14 number ones).
His albums have been nominated for
17 Classical Brit awards (winning Album of The Year at the 2010 Classical Brits for Spirit of The Glen - Journey) and with sales of over 3.2 million albums, Jon is considered to have played a major role in shaping the sound of the genre.

His background as a self taught musician (including several years as a jazz pianist and multi-instrumentalist) has fostered an instinctive musical ear and a highly individual approach. This combines with a command of cutting edge studio technology.

Understanding the importance of creating trust between artist and producer, Jon’s quiet confident manner puts those he works with at ease.

He is also part of Grammy nominated remix team Moto Blanco, having remixed tracks for major artists including Adele, Mary J Blige, George Michael, Leona Lewis and Lady Gaga.
